Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This policy explains what Sassy Pants ("we", "us") does — and mostly doesn't do — with your personal data, across this website and our apps. It is written to comply with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- We only receive personal data if you choose to email us.
- Every app we release gets its own section below describing exactly what it collects.
- We never sell personal data. Obviously.
Who we are
Sassy Pants is an independent app studio. We operate this website, sassypants.app, and publish apps on the Apple App Store. For anything in this policy, contact [email protected].
This website
sassypants.app is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We set no cookies and use no analytics. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, briefly processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse — standard behaviour for any website, and not something we use to identify you.
If you email us
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use this to reply and to fix whatever you wrote in about, on the lawful basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) in providing support. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Your address is never added to any marketing list.
Our apps
Our default is simple: apps that work without accounts and collect no personal data. Where an app differs, its section below spells out exactly what it collects, why, who it's shared with, and for how long. Each released app gets its own section here before it ships.
Upcoming first app
In development. Its data section will appear here before release.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first — we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
International transfers
We aim to keep processing in the UK and EEA. Where a service provider processes data elsewhere (for example, a global content delivery network), we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Children
Our website and apps are not directed at children under 13, unless an app's own section above says otherwise and explains the additional protections in place.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any updates on this page and refresh the date at the top. Meaningful changes to an app's data practices will also be flagged in that app's section and its release notes.
